Becky is an image consultant and knows that image is everything so when she meets a dated
vampire at a charity function she decides to ‘fix’ him. Sebastian has a mullet, bad dress sense
and an accent right out of a vampire movie; not to mention his extremely outdated attitude
regarding women but Becky is sure she can help him. So when her husband makes a very sexy
bet with her on Sebastian’s debut Becky takes him up on it, so what if it’s Sebastian she is hot
for; Sebastian who fills her bed at night and Sebastian that wants to claim her forever?
Sebastian always knew he’d have to work to claim his mate but never did he imagine that fate
would choose him such a shallow, vapid, cruel mate. Quick with criticism and slow with praise
Becky makes Sebastian more frustrated with every change she insists upon. While Sebastian is
sure that there is a sweet woman buried under the bitch created by an abusive mother and a
selfish ex-husband he begins to despair of ever seeing her. Will Sebastian and Becky be able
to get their acts together before they loose the chance of a lifetime?
Well they say that any book where you feel passionately about the characters is a good one
which makes Accustomed to his Fangs one of the best. I swear by the end of the book I just
wanted to bitch slap some sense into Becky she is shallow and can be downright mean and
nasty, like a thirty year old bitchy teen. Sebastian is very dominating and ‘Lord of the Manor’ish
but considering when he was born he’s pretty flexible, the fact that he is willing to go through
Becky’s make over process to win her heart shows a great deal of patience. Forget the drama
and focus on the heat because Sebastian and Becky do much better when conversation isn’t
involved, the heat explodes between them whenever Sebastian manages to lay hands on Becky
is enthralling. Well written with characters you’ll love to hate Accustomed to his Fangs is a
book that will remain in your memory long after you have read the last page.
