alone.
With emotions set to shred your heart Brier’s Bargain will require at least one box of tissues.
Brier is sweet and innocent. I will admit to an initial discomfort with his mental handicap and his
ability to knowingly conduct a sexual relationship when you combine that with his history;
however by the end of Brier’s Bargain I saw that while Brier may be a little slow and naive he is
very able to make up his own mind. Jackson is a kind gentle man whose endless patience with
Brier’s needs; will warm your heart.
The sensuality between Brier and Jackson starts at a slow simmer that revs up to a burn; well
before Jackson is well enough physically for them to do much about it. While Brier’s Bargain
is the first book in the Bodyguards in Love series it does contain several characters previously
seen in Carol Lynne’s Men in Love series. For full enjoyment you should backtrack and start at
the beginning so you know all the characters and places referred to in Brier’s Bargain.
