Fated:
Cascadia Wolves Bk. 6
Megan Warden is the last single woman in her family and she’s feeling the pressure from her
many female relatives to alter that fact. It’s not like she wouldn’t be happy to have a mate, she
just hasn’t found that one special man that makes her wolf stand up and take notice.  While
picking up a friend of her sister at the airport she recognized, in his scent, that elusive
something that made her wolf beg.  The scent of her mate, the man she knows denies his inner
wolf; however, when he chooses to claim her, Megan is sure he has had a change of heart.

Shane Rosario is a werewolf who lives as a human. After a lifetime of being told by his mother
that to let his wolf out is to lose his humanity, the wolf is something he’d rather not face.  He
knows about the mate bond however, so when he recognizes the pull towards Megan he doesn’t
even try to fight it.  Once the bond is sealed there is no going back, but Megan is fully immersed
within a culture he wants no part of and the only time they seem to get along is in bed Will
Shane be able to accept himself and Megan for the natural beasts that they really are, or will his
absolute refusal to face his true nature destroy them both?

Fated is an emotionally charged story that will hold you enthralled even as it rips at your heart,
be prepared with a box of tissues for this one because you’ll certainly need them.  Never have I
wanted to slap a hero upside the head with a frozen Trout as much as I wanted to hit Shane, he
is stubborn, arrogant and totally unwilling to work at the relationship between himself and
Megan.  Of course that doesn’t stop you from actually liking Shane and feeling somewhat sorry
for him.

Megan is a strong woman willing to make hard calls to protect herself and her beliefs, even
when she’s miserable and mopey she’s an easy woman to admire. The sex between Megan and
Shane is explosive, they generated enough heat to keep them trying for a relationship even
when it seemed like a less than bright idea.  While
Fated is part of the Cascadia Wolves series
it is the first book that is not part of the earlier story arc, you could actually read it as a stand
alone book however, I recommend reading the whole series because they really are that good.
I’m a little melancholy to think that
Fated may be the last of the Cascadia Wolves series. I’m
hoping that Ms. Dane comes up with more books, perhaps containing the children of all our
favorite Cascadia Wolves.
