Have Mercy:
Project Alpha Bk. 2
As an Alpha Logan is faster, stronger and smarter than your average man; he is also
hunted. Forced to separate from Tiernan, the other Alpha he escaped with Logan is
truly alone; working towards bringing down the wall that literally stands between the
haves and have not’s. Having escaped security forces sent to hunt him Logan is
wounded and alone. Waking up with an angel leaning over him he knows he cannot
stay; his mere presence will bring danger to Mercy and her whole community.
As a healer and mother to a house full of orphans Mercy is used to being in charge.
There is no way to stay in charge of Logan however, when a man can talk you to an
orgasm while strapped to your operating table it’s just hard to ever get that authority
back. Knowing that her time with this remarkable man is extremely limited will Mercy be
able to resist his sensual allure? Or will danger come and force Logan and Mercy apart
before their relationship can even begin?
A stark world marked with the poison and pollution of generation’s acts as a backdrop
for the raw emotion and nail biting tension of Have Mercy.
Mercy has a giant heart, warm and open which you think would leave her wide open to
hurt. Her resilient nature and willingness to fight for what she believes makes her an
easy woman to admire. Logan, despite the purpose for his creation, is a sweet, soul
who only wants to protect the few remaining good portions of the world. His stalwart
heart and capacity to love despite constant betrayals throughout his life is astounding.
Even when Logan is injured the lust burns star bright between Mercy and Logan. Giving
into temptation creates a black hole of sensation drawing you in with no possible hope
of escape. With a cast of secondary characters that is both lovable and memorable I
forsee many more books in the Project Alpha series and hope that as these enigmatic
men find their mates they manage build a world worth living in around them.
