Her Chosen Wolf:
The Were Chronicles Bk. 1
Saffa is the rarest kind of shifter, a metamorph. Able to take any form a metamorphs greatest
strength lies in her ability to extend the life span of any pack they join. Saffa is hunted for her
gifts by the Redmaven pack, so determined to use her to make the son of their leader supreme
alpha that they will stop at nothing, even rape. But Saffa isn’t about to lie still for that. Running
to the man Saffa has known all her adult life is the mate of her heart Saffa just hopes that she
can convince Justice that she has, at last, grown up.
Justice has loved Saffa since her scent blossomed into that of a grown woman and her puppy
fat fell away. Restrained by a devastating secret Justice hasn’t claimed Saffa as he has longed
to do. When she comes to him in danger all bets are off.
Claiming Saffa as his mate is what Justice has always wanted but with his secret hanging over
his head all he can do is turn to his friend Drew to help him protect her. When the three of them
find themselves cornered by the feral wolves of the Redmaven pack with Justice and Drew be
able to protect Saffa? Or will Justice’s secret destroy their newly formed relationship leaving
Saffa in danger?
With a heart thumping beginning and enough action to keep your heart racing through out, Her
Chosen Wolf is sure to hold you enthralled. Saffa is a strong woman who knows exactly what
she wants and is determined to get it. Her ability to accept things and move on is really quite
remarkable. Justice is a strong alpha male whose willingness to sacrifice his own happiness to
ensure Saffa’s happiness and safety will bring tears to your eyes.
The steam really rises when Saffa and Justice come together the sensuality and sheer need
creating a flush of heat. The addition of Drew as Justice’s sec, essentially a replacement mate
granted access to the couple’s bed, creates a combustion of heat and emotion that will blow you
away. The love between Saffa and Justice does at times cause Drew to fade out however, as I
am hoping the next story in The Were Chronicles is his, I wasn’t too cut up about it. With a host
of unmated pack members it is obvious that The Were Chronicles has plenty of room to grow
and it is my fervent hope that Ms. Michaels has a long series in mind.
