Hidden Heart
Lindy Timberland had devoted her life to bears – teddy bears that was.  She was the proud
owner of Timberland Teddies where all her bears were handmade.  While writing her annual
contribution check to the grizzly bear foundation, Lindy was thrilled to learn that she had been
invited for a week long stay at the wild life camp to see first-hand how her donations made a
difference in the bear research.

Wildlife biologist Rafe Kutter already didn’t agree with the foundation inviting a wealthy dilettante
to be paraded around the grounds like she was on a simple camping trip especially when there
was much work to be done.  Things became even more complicated upon her arrival because
Rafe was immediately attracted to her.  Determined to horde his dreadful secret, Rafe tried to
maintain a distance from Lindy, but she refused to comply.  Will Rafe reveal his perceived
werebear curse to Lindy?

Hidden Heart was an amazing, emotional story that will have you bowing over with laughter
one minute and then in the very next caught up in the rapture of great desire.  Rafe believed
himself to be curse as a shape shifter werebear, while Lindy though him to be blessed with a
remarkable gift that he should welcome with open arms.  Both Rafe and Lindy possessed strong
personalities which proved for some very entertaining dialect because they were consistently at
each other throats whether in a heated argument or caught up in a sweltering, hot sexual
encounter.

I took great pleasure in reading
Hidden Heart.  Kate Steele is a fantastic writer with touching
scenes that will pull at your heartstring all while increasing your body temperature with sizzling,
hot romance.  Readers, you don’t want to miss out on this wonderful, touching novel.

Note: Hidden Heart originally appeared in Lions and Tigers and Bears anthology.
