House of the Cat
Camryn is desolate after the death of her beloved husband. Falling into a depression made
worse by her attempt to drink herself through it Camryn doesn’t even want to come out the
other side. Being accidentally kidnapped by aliens is not what Camryn was expecting for her
future but there is no way she is letting them go back and get her happily married brother
instead. Camryn can ride anything with four legs and is sure she can wrangle the hell-horse
they need tamed for the races. But she never counted on developing feelings for the sexy cat
shifter who stole her away.
Ryman Coppersmith is the Captain of the Indefatigable. Accused of a crime he did not commit
the only way to prove his innocence is to win the hell-horse races on Ornum. A good trainer is
essential to his endeavor so when Ry finds himself stuck with a foul smelling woman instead of
the trainer he was expecting he isn’t particularly impressed. But the cat that lives within him is.
Her scent draws him and once she is made more presentable Ry finds her completely
irresistible. When danger threatens his crew will Ry be forced to give up his plans for freedom?
Or will Camryn manage to haul his butt out of the fire and secure her own freedom in return?
With an abundance of lovable characters playing against a backdrop of stars and alien worlds
House of the Cat is a rollicking thrill ride that will keep you turning page after page. Camryn is
damaged goods, watching as she finds the inner strength to pull herself together and once
again live her life is awe inspiring. Ry is a strong alpha male who is unable to control his inner
cat until it meets Camryns settling influence. His struggle to earn Camryn's love is endearing
especially as he is forced to fight a dead man for her affection. The passion between Camryn
and Ry is explosive, especially when the passions of the cat are brought to the fore. It's intense
need for it's mate defines many of the sexual encounters, while the innate sensuality of the cat
is visable in Ry's every move. With so many secondary characters steeling your heart and the
mystery of Ry's origins to unravel I can only hope that Ms. Munro plans another visit to the
exciting world of House of the Cat.
