Into the Mist
Nikki grew up on the streets, until Michael took her in. He was her one true friend but he
took his own life, leaving Nikki alone again. With nobody in her life and nothing tying her
to this place Nikki packed her car and left. So here she is stranded in the forest, her car
broken down and no other vehicles in sight. As she walks through the forest Nikki
comes upon a waterfall and pool and decides to take a dip, not realizing she was
swimming in the bridal pool which has magical properties. It apparently makes a
woman's hormones and body ready to receive a lover, increasing the feeling the longer
she stays in the pool.
Gunnar and Geran Mondella approach the pool and introduce themselves. As Nikki
leaves the pool they realize she is the woman who is meant to be their mate. Gunnar
and Geran are more then just men, they are werewolves who never thought they would
actually find their mate. This begins Nikki's journey into a mating with Gunnar and Geran
who are more than happy to show her what loving a woman is all about. Not only will
they teach her how to make love but they will introduce her to what it means to love
werewolves such as themselves. Could life get any sweeter? Has Nikki finally found a
life and family all her own finally? Gunnar and Geran are determined to show her she is
theirs forever from this moment on.
Into the Mist-the stand alone sequel to White Valley is a beautiful dream for Nikki. I
was entranced by the way Gunnar and Geran take her to be their mate. It was like
reading about a delicious dream of two gorgeously strong and very masculine
men/werewolves who teach a human what real love is all about. Although its a short
story there's a lot packed into it. Its hot and sexy with the three of them learning about
each other as they became closer through the mating from the bridal pool. What a
lovely setting for a woman to loose her virginity.
As I read about Gunnar and Geran I came to see that they were more than
men/werewolves as they treated Nikki well and yet made love to her, not just having sex.
It was interesting to see how they finally tell her who and what they are once they have
mated her. This is a story which leaves a desire for the three to make everything of their
newly discovered love for each other. Lacey Thorn has always written interesting and
exciting stories and I do enjoy seeing menage a trois and werewolves coming together
with their mates. It is an incredibly erotic read. It is absolutely one of my favorites. Don't
miss this enticing story.
