Irish Sex Fairy
Keara Callaghan is caught up in a nightmare. A severe fright at gun point has her totally shell
shocked. She needs to escape to a safe place and get her life back together. All she can think
of is her Great-Aunt Maeve's place in Kilkenny, California three hours from L.A, so that's where
she's headed. Aunt Maeve's place is called the 'Irish Sex Fairy'. Yes, Aunt Maeve runs a
quaint sex shop in this small Irish town in the middle of California. A little bit of Ireland where
everyone knows each other and the local police chief, Shane Dunstan, looks in on the elderly,
including Maeve.
When Shane sees Keara for the first time since they were teenagers he is both furious and
taken with her beautiful but haunted appearance. He makes her feel so guilty for leaving her
sweet Great Aunt Maeve alone all these years, but Shane still feels the need to keep coming by
to see Keara. She's gotten under his skin again and he can't keep his mind off her. And
Keara, she remembers the summer they spent making love like it was yesterday. She has
changed so much but Shane, he's still the delicious, hot looking man she remembers. Stunning
blue eyes and thick dark hair she longs to run her hands through, Keara wants to be with
Shane again. Odd and dangerous things start happening around Keara, her problems seem to
have followed her to Kilkenny. Eventually Keara will have to face her demons and Shane will
have to make a decision about how much he wants Keara in his life.
Irish Sex Fairy starts off with fast paced danger and Keara in the thick of it. I was caught up
from the first page in this book, reading as fast as I could to see Keara through her trauma only
to find that there was more coming her way.
Keara's story, a distressed young woman working to get past her traumas, is described
excellently making her character very believable. This made the story intense at times, and
also gave Shane a perfect reason to open up and become involved with her. I especially
enjoyed great aunt Maeve, a real fun loving older person who encouraged her niece to have
sex. In her belief she thought that the more sex you had the better you felt.
This is a good solid love story for Keara and Shane. I felt like I was in the middle of an Irish
town in Ireland as the story takes place mostly in this town. What a wonderful place to be. I
truly felt this story was natural and endearing and the love between Shane and Keara was so
great that it held a place in my heart as I read the book. You won't want to miss this book. It's
got charm, humor, love and really good sex, not to mention a hunky police chief who can't figure
if he's coming or going with Keara for a while. He is the perfect balm to a devastated Keara.
You'll enjoy a very good story with twists and turns throughout it, amongst the loving. It was
definitely worth the time.
