Jaci 192 is an Alvian lab tech who, after an accident in the lab with a gene altering agent, is
developing emotions similar to the human captives she oversees in the labs. Knowing that she
will be destroyed if her new emotions are discovered Jaci does her best to hide them, however
all the human prisoners have psychic gifts, some of which, make deceiving them impossible.
When contact with two of the human males, Mike and Dave, produces a hum that is the first sign
of a true resonance mating; Jaci realizes that the emotions Alvian’s have deliberately bred out
of themselves are the key to the highly prized resonance matings. Unable to spend much time
with her mates without giving away her secret Jaci must build her relationship in stolen moments
while seeking a way to free her mates and herself before it’s to late.
Mike and Dave are cousins whose psychic gifts helped them to survive the Alvian invasion.
Mike is a dreamwalker, able to not only walk in someone’s dream but also able to bring others
with him, a handy gift for both business and pleasure. Dave is a healer of both mind and body
and just one touch shows him that Jaci desperately needs his help. Jaci has always been
different from the other Alvians that Mike and Dave have come into contact with since they were
captured and imprisoned for experimentation however, with new emotions showing the Alvian
treatment of prisoners in a new light will Jaci be torn apart or captured by her superiors? Will
Mike and Dave be able to integrate her emotions enough to give them all a shot at life?
An emotional thrill ride combined with characters so real you’ll feel like you know them; will
ensure that Jaci’s Experiment will leave you yearning for more. Jaci is a strong woman whose
innate kindness, even before the return of her emotions, ensures that she has a support net to
fall back on after her accident. The depth of emotion that she feels after the accident create
the illusion that she is very human and easy to relate too a feeling that continues throughout
the story. Mike is a total alpha male whose willingness to sacrifice his own pleasure in favour of
Jaci and Davids make him someone you want to spoil. David’s gift makes him very empathetic
and his willingness to use his gifts even at his own detriment makes him easy to love.
When the lovers come together whether in a dream controlled by Mike or in reality the heat they
generate isn’t just sexual but emotional as well, adding an extra layer of sensuality that just can’t
be beat. Further progression of the Alvian storyline will hold you enthralled until the last page.
Jaci's Experiment contains visits with all your old friends from the series so far, not to mention
a hot guy with wings. Jaci’s Experiment is not a book you’d want to start late at night as it is
absolutely impossible to put down.
Jaci’s Experiment could be read as a stand alone, but for full enjoyment I recommend that
you start at the beginning of Ms. D’Arc’s Resonance Mates series. I personally can’t wait to see
what Ms. D’Arc comes up with next in this fascinating an colorful world.
