The Katzman's Mate
Commander Chellak Rai returned to his home planet after thirty years in exile to reclaim
his birthright. He never thought he would end up with his own personal slave and one
that turns out to be his mate! Demyen is a bruter, from a little known planet Elquone. His
slave contract states he must always have a master else his ownership reverts to
Vortigern Vedek, the man who killed Chellaks father.
The ownership of slaves is against the laws of Katzmann. Chellak must defy the law and
his own deeply held beliefs to keep Demyan safe. Demyan has learnt by harsh hands to
follow his master orders to the letter. Together Chellak and Demyan struggle with the
roles they are placed in as master and slave to find a way to love and trust each other as
danger reaches ever closer to home.
Stormy Glenn has created characters that strive to be more than they thought they could
be. Chellak with his control issues and mis-communication must learn to believe and
trust in Demyan. While Demyan’s innocence shines through in all situations he must
learn to understand Chellak and trust himself.
The sexual tension abounds between Chellak and Demyan combining with their
misunderstandings and you will be barracking for them long term. Katzman's Mate
focuses on the emotional relationship of Chellak and Demyan ensuring your heart is
involved before their bodies are.
Katzman's Mate is a story that does not hold a lot of surprises plot wise but still keeps
you reading due to Ms Glenn’s deft hand with the pen. With likeable characters and a
colorful galaxy Katzman’s Mate is another win by Stormy Glenn.
