Knight Stalker
This is a re-release of a story from the Manaconda Anthology released in 2004.

Bliss St. Clair has had a crush on her brothers friend, Cadan Gaelan, for a long time.  Its only
now that she comes upon him feeding from the neck of a woman that she realizes he is a
vampire.  How can this be?  He has been with her in daylight, yet, here in front of her eyes is a
terrifying reality she can't deal with.  So Bliss runs, fast and furious to get away from Cadan.

More than just an ancient vampire, Cadan hosts an entity that uses the blood he drinks to live
and keep its' host strong against the enemies searching for him.  Actually he hosts two entities,
a male and a female, and the female wants her own host.  Cadan wants Bliss but he never
wanted her to see this side of him.  He has searched for centuries to find a mate for himself who
would be strong enough to harbor the female entity.  Time is running out.  Cadan must keep the
woman he holds dear safe against his enemies and teach her what he really is before harm
comes to their door.

I have always found Lora Leigh's books to be mesmerizing and highly erotic.  The characters in
Knight Stalker seem so alive in the way they move and act with each other.  From the
beginning I was transported to where the story takes place by the vivid imagery she portrays in
this book.  I was enthralled with Cadan.  Strong, handsome and a great sense of humor, he
exudes sexuality as if it was a second skin, and his determination to have Bliss just made my
heart beat a little faster.  I also found myself liking Bliss a great deal.  She has a feisty attitude
and a 'take no prisoners' behavior that kept Bliss and Cadan's sparing intriguing.

I don't recall seeing any more of this particular series about 'The Dark Knights' and wonder if
Lora Leigh will write any more about this creature and the entities.  It seems like she left room
for more to be told in the future about these people.  I guess time will tell.  If she does write more
on these vampires, it will surely be another fantastic story.  I have never gone wrong with
reading a Lora Leigh book.  They deliver every ounce of excitement and ecstasy that they can
including the love scenes that are simply sooo hot they will leave your mind raging for more.
Knight Stalker is a book well worth your time.
