Last Man on Earth
Three years ago Rena had told Micco Hagan that she wouldn’t sleep with him if he were the last
man on earth.  Then the world ended.  Now, while Micco isn’t exactly the last man on earth he is
pretty close to it.  And with the matching of the singles on the underwater base Micco is
suddenly the last man on earth for her.

Micco knows he screwed up pretty badly when he asked Rena out and that she has hated him
ever since but he is determined to get around that.  Being the Doctor assigned to set the
matches made it fairly simple to assign Rena as his bride.  Given the chance to win her over will
Micco be able to transform obligatory sex into voluntary love?

An air of desperation pervades the pages of
Last Man on Earth.  As mankind struggles just to
survive and you find yourself drawn ever deeper into the tangled web of danger and betrayal.
Rena is a strong confidant woman, her flexibility and wiliness to accept change make her a very
interesting woman indeed.

Micco is a little more devious than I generally like my heroes.  Purposefully setting himself up
with a woman he desired who had previously spurned his advances is just a smidge sleazy in
my opinion.  However as Micco came good in the end I’ll forgive him.  The sex is explosive with a
heartfelt sensuality that grabs your attention and won’t let go.  For me,
Last Man on Earth was
a perfect lunchtime read with only one small problem.  I got so engrossed in the story I forgot to
eat!
