Pack Alpha:
Were Chronicles Bk. 1
Marissa is a trapped between worlds.  Not quite human but unable to shift like most werewolves
she is trapped in her own skin.  When Pack Law causes Marissa and her sister Elizabeth to be
ejected from Pack Lands Marissa is determined that her deformity will never again cause her
sister pain.  Living in the city is hard but worthwhile as Elizabeth is happy; but when Elizabeth’s
mating ceremony approaching and Marissa drawn back to Pack Lands will Marissa be able to
avoid the males of the pack and prevent Pack Law from destroying Elizabeth’s happiness?

Gage Wolf is Alpha and expects to be treated with the respect such a position demands.
Marissa however refuses to show him any respect and displays an almost hostile attitude that
Gage is at a loss to explain.  Not that it matters, his wolf knows she is his mate all he has to do is
get past that prickly defensive attitude to the soft woman he knows is buried inside.  When
Gage discovers how Marissa has been treated in the past because of her differences and that
the wolf who has hurt her is once again seeking to claim her as his own will Gage be willing or
able to fight to keep Marissa by his side?

Displaying a sometimes uncomfortable grip on your emotions
Pack Alpha is sure to require a
box of tissues.  Marissa is a really inspiring woman whose willingness to segregate herself from
a society she needs to live comfortably just to ensure the happiness of her sister made me all
emotional.  Especially in the face of her sisters selfish attitude.  Usually it’s an emotional
dimwitted male I want to fish slap but Elizabeth defiantly deserves a wet cod upside the head for
being a selfish bitch.

Gage is not your typical alpha.  Sure he’s strong, sexy and dominant but he’s also a real
sweetie.  His willingness to work with Marissa’s attitude and determination to keep her by his
side will bring a smile.  His aggressive defense of Marissa is heartwarming and everything I’ve
come to expect from an alpha wolf.  Intense steam forms every time Marissa and Gage come
into a room together and when they touch it combusts into a blaze that will leave your fingers
scorched.  With a whole cast of lovable secondary characters I can’t wait to see what Crissy
Smith comes up with next for the world of the
Were Chronicles series.
