Ryker Allen is Mother Earths favored son. Reborn over a century ago to protect the earth’s
shifters Ryker feels the pain of loneliness more and more every day. Watching as his charges

Hakan is the favored son of Father Sky entrusted the care of the flying shifters Hakan has had
little to do since his people took to the sky permanently. When Ryker and Daniel show up on
his doorstep with the only weapon that will work against their Hunter enemies Hakan is attracted
to them both immediately. Could they be the mates he has long awaited?
Daniel is a King without a people to rule. The first victims of the Hunters, Daniel now lives with
the guilt of not being able to rescue his clan. Knowing that Ryker and Hakan are mates Daniel
is just glad to be included in their relationship, especially as their separation causes him pain.
Daniel grows weaker as the war wages and when he is betrayed will Ryker and Hakan believe in
him enough to mount a rescue or will Daniel finally join his people in their fate?
With the depth of emotion and vibrant imagery that Ms. Lynne does so well Retribution will
sweep you into her fantasy and refuse to let you go. Ryker is a strong alpha male, his sweetly
vulnerable soul endearing him to the reader quickly while his powerful and vivacious presence
makes you feel like you could easily interact with him.
Hakan is a roasted marshmallow, hard and crispy on the outside sweet and creamy on the
inside. His vulnerability shows through at the most unexpected moments making it feel like you
really know him. The constant constraints that Hakan is forced to live under and the soul
punishing loneliness he has felt since his people took to the sky will make you just want to wrap
him up and make all his pains go away.
Daniel is broken. His battered and torn soul on occasion makes your heart physically clench in
sympathy. Daniels inability to feel the love of his men through the constant pain of his loss will
bring tears to your eyes as you cheer on the badly wounded shifter. By the end of Retribution
I felt as though I’d meet Daniels true blue eyes when I looked up and was almost disappointed
when they weren’t there.
The heat created when Ryker, Daniel and Hakan come together is explosive and emotional.
You feel the love in every touch as Ms. Lynne weaves the hearts and souls of these three men
into a strong united front capable of facing anything. Retribution is most defiantly not a book I
would recommend reading solo so make sure you grab the first book of the Refuge Shifter
series before you dive into Retribution. With at least one more book promised and a whole host
of exciting and lovable men searching for their mates I can’t wait to see what Ms. Lynn comes up
with next.
