Desire, Oklahoma is unlike any other town in the world. The men have strong determined views
of how women should behave and they watch out for 'their women', all the women who live in
Desire. It's just the way it is in this town. Women obey the men in their lives. Erin Robinson
came to Desire for one reason only, to be there for her sister until her sister's baby is born.
She learned the ways of Desire quickly, and as it turns out there are three men in
particular,Jared, Duncan and Reese Preston, who have decided that Erin will be their woman
and have enlisted the help of her sister's husbands. Yes, husbands because in Desire it is
normal for two or more men to take one wife.
Erin believes in monogamy, so she has been avoiding the Preston men since she realized their
intentions. She can't see how it would work with two men, let alone three. Erin's men are not
about to take this lying down and they start wooing her in earnest at the town Christmas party.
Then things start to go terribly wrong. A couple of virgin Margaritas and Erin has to be rushed
to the hospital. She had been poisoned, the first attempt on her life. Determined to protect her,
Erin's men take her home with them, and thats when they begin showing her how loved she is.
The loving flames out of control and they make love to Erin so many times in so many ways that
she can't possibly not fall in love with them.
Someone wants Erin out of the picture, and each attempt on her life increases in danger, the
men must become more vigilant in order to save their love. All the men of Desire rally around
the foursome to protect Erin, but will it be enough? The men of Desire won't take the threats to
Erin laying down.
This is one hot story! I was fanning my face from the beginning till the very end. Rules of
Desire engulfs the reader right from the start, coming alive with everyone you meet in this town.
I felt like I was meeting these people myself and enjoying the naughty ways they love their
women. With Erin in danger I was reading the book faster to see what was going on and what
would happen next. Then I got caught up with the way Jared, Duncan and Reese were going
after Erin. They were determined to have her, and she wasn't going to get a chance to deny
them.
As much as she fought the building relationship trying to hold onto her independence, Erin was
also being shown incredible, delicious love by her men. You won't want to miss this incredibly
hot book, it's a keeper. I don't think I can get enough of Leah Brooke's Desire, Oklahoma
series. You won't be disappointed either if you want a book that comes alive as you read,
makes you feel a part of the story and makes you crave a place and the men who live in Desire.
If there was such a place, I would move there in a second. I won't be missing any of her books.
