Sacred Eden
This story is set in the Horde Wars universe.
A year had past since the last fight between the Shikar Warriors and the Daemons.
Could this be the end of the ferocious war with the Daemons? Well, Obsidian and Cady
– a Shikar couple from the book one if the Horde Wars – were about to find out that the
fight was far from over when an unexpected attack from a very powerful Daemon
brought Death knocking at their door.
Even though, Scared Eden is book four in the Horde Wars series, I found it to be more
of an introduction of what is to come. Fans of this series that are familiar with the evil
Daemons from the past will be in for a shocking surprise when the newly fashioned
Daemons are revealed. I can’t say too much more for fear of giving away the plot – you
will just have to pick up your copy to uncover the spine-tingling mystery.
It was only fitting that author Sherri L. King brought back Obsidian and Cady to star as
the hero and heroine in Scared Eden. The sexual chemistry was still hot as ever
between the couple and it was a pleasure to see them happily married with a son.
The action whether passion or intense fight was non-stop and moved an exciting, rapid
pace. Although, Scared Eden is a standalone novella and can be enjoyed as is, I
would strongly suggest reading the previous three releases, especially Obsidian and
Cady’s original story for historical purposes.
