Nadia is a woman of untold strength. Having faced the devastation of the Dargon virus and the
integration of fertile Earth woman Nadia came through stronger and more emotionally stable
then anyone had a right to expect. Add to that the horrors she faces in Sherem and it is
amazing she doesn’t splinter into a billion emotional pieces. Nadia’s self image issues turn this
virtual paragon into a woman who feels real and that I found very easy to empathize with.
Sherem is another strong warrior with absolutely no idea about his emotions. It really makes
you wonder what the parents of Ganz are teaching their sons because while Zorroc had
reasons for his emotional issues Sherem seems to have none. I defiantly had moments when I
wanted him to receive the good sharp slap upside the head he really did deserve. Without his
highly unusual and intelligent bodyguard, Bran, there to act as his conscious and add a few
brain cells to his interactions with Nadia he probably never would have managed to keep her
alive long enough for him to figure out what she meant to him.
When Nadia and Sherem are even close to each other you feel the electricity tingle down your
spine. Mind blowing sex generally follows with an emotional component that will draw you
deeply into their private little cocoon. With more books in the series planned I hope to find
stories in the future for Rees and Bran both of whom engaged my imagination and interest even
if they are both a little young at the moment. With another book in the Feline Predators of Ganz
due out next month I certainly wont have long to find out what happens next in this amazing
universe.
