Sabina Volt is on the run from her megalomaniac ex-fiancée. What better way to run
and hide than to sign up to be a mail order bride on a planet far away from Earth? As
she reaches planet C8282 to meet her future husband, Walt Sheridan, Sabina's not
sure whether she's running away from one problem or straight into another. This just
seems like the only way to escape the dangerously deadly man she left behind.
When Sabina and Walt meet he discovers that she is more beautiful than he hoped.
Oh, and there's a warrant out for her arrest splashed all over the news. So Walt takes
Sabina and races to his ranch, The Triple S. On the long drive Walt explains that she
will not only be marrying him, but also his two younger brothers, Dan and Charlie.
Sabina wonders what she has gotten herself into, whether Walt is as bad and
dangerous as the man she ran from, and how will she manage three husbands who take
one look at her and know that all their dreams have come true. She will soon discover
that there are dangerous things to face on this planet, but the Sheridan men will keep
her safe and would do anything for the woman who becomes their wife. They know she
is hiding something from the way she acts, but will she, given time, open up and learn to
trust them?
At first I thought that this would be an exciting story, with a woman on the run and three
men waiting to deliver everything she could want in a husband or three. As I read The
Triple S Bride-Tasty Treats Book 10 I found myself distracted. The story didn't hold my
attention as much as I had hoped. Walt is a bit stoic and he and Sabina are a bit
stand-offish with each other, which did impact the way I felt. It took a while, but as I got
further into the story I found myself liking all the characters.
Sabina is a beautiful, deep woman who wanted to love and be loved by the three men.
It was interesting to read of the two brothers who were inexperienced with women, but
as Sabina discovers they are each different, sexy men who would take her to new
heights of sexual discovery. As the days they shared brought Sabina's desires to be
with them in every way a wife could be she learns about her own power to entice these
three men who turned out to be amazing men each in their own rights. I did like the way
the story actually picked up after a little while and brought the four characters together. It
had good suspense and atmosphere that made me hope that Sabina would find a new
life full of love with three devastating men to finally show her what love was. It just
needed a little more interaction from Walt to make it really work better.
