Professional bull riders Slade Bower and Mustang Johnson have been traveling the
circuit together for years. Normally after a stunning ride they're horny and ready for a
woman, and usually they share a woman. But recently Slade hasn't been wanting just

Jenna Block is a romance writer who's publisher wants her to meet the latest trend,
cowboys. Jenna knowns nothing about cowboys, but how hard can it be for her to write
about them? She'll just change her current story to cowboys, right? Not even close.
During a romance writers convention Jenna sneaks out to see a Rodeo, and afterwards
asks two bull riders, Mustang and Slade, if they would be willing to help her with her
work. This is going to work perfectly for the guys, though it seems that Slade is taking
more of an interest in Jenna as they get to know her and read her book. He's being
awfully helpful with terminology and technical advice. It seems he intends to win her heart
and be in her bed, without Mustang. Jenna is about to get the ride of her life while
writing her latest romance about cowboys. The excitement is just beginning.
I fell in love with the characters in this story. I was excited to read about the bull riding
and that was well detailed in Unridden-Studs in Spurs, Book one. Jenna's a beautiful
woman, but a little naive about the men she approaches for help. Slade and Mustang
are ruggedly handsome, commanding men who know how to entice a woman into their
arms and their bed. These two striking good looking men who have quite a talent for
bull riding and the ladies put all their attention and knowledge into landing this city
woman, Jenna. She's very smart and doesn't intend to be a notch on their bed post, at
least not easily, but as they begin to work together the competition between Slade and
Mustang heats up.
This is a passionate story that makes you feel like you are right there in the stands
watching these two magnificent cowboys compete. I was so engrossed in the story as
the men began to charm Jenna into their arms and their hearts. I found myself totally
involved in Slade and Mustangs bet, knowing what consummate lovers they could be,
feeling like I couldn't wait for them to get Jenna into bed. The way they treat Jenna just
took my breath away. I particularly enjoyed the way they drew out the love scenes. I was
able to see Slade falling in love with Jenna just from talking with her, and then when they
made love. This time Slade felt it was more than just sex with an anonymous woman,
this was Jenna, his heart and love of his life as he comes to discover in every action that
the two of them take together.
Cat Johnson is extremely well versed in menage a trois scenes. I hope she continues to
write more stories about Cowboys or bull riders. They are exciting books to read the
way Cat writes them.
