Wild Rodeo Nights:
Wilder Series Bk.2
Carrie Marsh lost both her parents a few years ago.  She dropped out of college to look
after her family, and has been keeping the homestead going and running her parents
store ever since.  That's all she's been doing for several years, and now she'll have to
take care of her little sister who is 17 and pregnant.  Carrie is so caught up in her
responsibilites she doesn't have time for her own life.  Several men have been trying to
get her to marry them, but she has turned them all down.  She also has a hard and fast
rule to never get involved with the Rodeo guys who come to town for a weekend once or
twice a year.  There's just no point in having a fling with nothing to show for it when her
life is so full she barely has time to breath.

Carrie heads for the local pub where the cowboys hang out to confront the man who got
her sister pregnant, to force him to stand up and take responsibility.  She spots Cole
Wilder and lets loose in the middle of the crowded bar.  Only problem is she's
screaming at the wrong man.  When Carrie eventually runs out of steam she runs out of
the bar, with Cole following her.  He felt something while Carrie was ranting at him and
knew he wanted to be with her for the weekend.  The next day he's in her store helping
her around the place.  Carrie can't figure out what Cole is up to, but she's thankful for his
help and pretty soon their chemistry brings them together and he takes her in his arms,
kisses her and can't seem to pull away.  Their desire for each other makes them throw
caution to the wind and they have several nights of incredibly arousing sex.  Neither
Cole nor Carrie realize just what they started the night they first made love, but as time
passes they keep coming back together.

Sandy Sullivan has written a heart warming and heart wrenching love story for Carrie
and Cole.
Wild Rodeo Nights-Wilder series two kept me emotionally in turmoil
throughout.  I had to put the book down a few times it was so intense with the feelings it
conveyed.  Carrie is a very strong and independent woman, quite capable of handling
things on her own, and the chemistry between she and Cole is magnetic.  Their love
making is beautifully arousing and touching as well as intense.  This story took me on an
emotional ride where I even found myself crying from time to time where the story
touched my heart to the core.

I was excited to read this second story in
the Wilder series, but I found that it drew my
emotions to much for me to really enjoy the way Carrie and Cole learn to love each other
and become the other half of each other.  I wish there had been a few more love scenes
and a little less heart tugging so I could really have enjoyed this story.  Still, Cole and
Carrie's story is a wonderful addition to the Wilder family stories.  Just make sure you
have some tissues nearby when you read it.
