Wild Wyoming Nights:
Wilder Series Bk.1
Abigail Carter is moving to Wyoming to get a fresh start in life. She lost her fire fighter
husband whom she loved deeply during the September 11th tragedy in New York and
she's determined to get on with her life. She's always wanted to run and breed horses,
and this is her chance, but shortly after her move the weather closes in with snow and
then a blizzard. When Abigail ventures out in her jeep to get supplies she has a serious
collision and winds up unconscious in her totaled jeep. Her neighbor, Chase Wilder,
hears the emergency call about the wreck and high tails it to help Abigail. When he
finally gets her free of the wreck and loaded in the ambulance he follows them to the
hospital, and that is when the magic begins to happen between them.
Like her Mother, Abigail is a 'sensitive', someone who can sense when bad things are
happening to others. She can feel when others are in trouble, and she senses that
Chase is in need of help when he's injured severely by a horse. Abigail fights the
weather to reach Chase and soon after they begin to turn to each other for more than
help. There is an attraction that is burning in them for each other, but they both have lost
their partners in life and don't know if they are ready to move on yet. However, every
time they come together sparks fly and Chase knows he has to have Abigail and Abigail
has to convince Chase she is ready for him in her life. Time and some very unusual
events bring them together because it has been 'seen' that they were meant to be
together. They are each others' fresh start in life.
Wild Wyoming Nights is book one in the Wilders series. It is an enchanting, almost
traditional romance story that offers a little more with Abigail and her Mother able to
sense things about people. A meddling brother reminding Abigail of her late husband,
a ghost or two stirring up the plot and absolutely deliciously hot sex make this an
interesting story. I enjoyed this story, but it took a long time for Abigail and Chase to
become intimate and it was a little bothersome that Chase kept backing away from
Abigail despite what his heart kept saying to him. Even so this was a beautiful story to
read.
Chase is the quintessential male cowboy on the ranch who makes women swoon over
him. Abigail is striking in her determination to get on with her life and live it to the fullest,
even when she tries to make Chase see they are right for each other. I especially
enjoyed Chases brother Cole, a devilishly handsome cowboy who decides to help Abby
get her man. There is a lot going on in this story and I can't wait for the next book in the
Wilders series. Chase has two brothers and I hope the next book will be about one of
them. Don't miss out on this truly sexy story.
